4k webcam — clip it, the laptop lid is a chin shot

the laptop lid loses because of the angle, not because the camera in it is cursed. it sits below your eyes and looks up. every call and every stream becomes a chin and a ceiling. clipping a 4k webcam to the top of the monitor puts the lens where a person would actually look at you. that is the upgrade. a more expensive body does not fix a lens that is staring at your nostrils. if the clip on the listing disappears from the bullets, you are looking at a different product than the one in this picture.

65, 78, or 90 degrees

the mics are not the headset

the mics are dual omnidirectional with noise cancel, and the page says they pick you up from about 1.2 meters. that is fine for a meeting when nothing else is on your head. it is not a replacement for a headset on a ranked night. i already wrote that as the wireless gaming headset for ranked nights, because the battery and the boom are a different argument. use the webcam mics when the headset is on the hook. do not stack both and then wonder why you sound like two rooms.

pros: the clip is in the bullet, the title says 4k, and the shade is a physical cover instead of a checkbox. the review pile on that asin is large enough that i am not asking you to trust a brand-new listing with twelve opinions. cons: the seller in the buy box was reviveit, not amazon.com, and stock was thin. a used offer was sitting underneath from the mid-$80s. the price i saw on the new button was $125.72. call it about $126 and check again, because a third-party count of about 20 can disappear before dinner. if you need a microphone more than a picture, this is the wrong sentence. the monitor light is the other thing on that bezel, and it does not take the picture.
